Job Summary

Spa Forrest is hiring for a Delaware certified technician/licensed massage therapist. We are a very busy spa located in Seaford, Delaware. The ideal candidate for this position will be committed to contributing towards a positive work environment and will know multiple modalities. Spa experience is preferred, however, we will train the right person for our team if they are eager to work hard and learn.

Qualifications

  • Licensed or certified Massage Therapist/Technician in the State of Delaware
  • Must have positive attitude with owners, coworkers and guests
  • Must be willing to learn and provide our signature treatments with passion and high level of skill
  • Excellent communication and listening abilities
  • The ideal candidate will know Swedish, deep tissue and hot stone massage. Other experience in other modalities (like prenatal, reflexology, bamboo) is also preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide consistent and professional massage treatments in accordance with Forrest’s protocols and Delaware’s certification/license practices
  • Willing to learn from massage department lead as well as follow well Delaware’s guidelines on continuing education every other year (including CPR)
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to properly sanitize and clean
  • Ability to massage guests for general well-being, relaxation and therapeutic needs
  • Properly care for equipment and use proper amounts of products to be cost effective
  • Communicate with owners and massage department lead positively and with solutions in mind
  • Perform prep work and properly clean and restock massage room at end of shift
  • Ability to get to work on time to perform treatments according to schedule
